Debbie sent Mom a lovely centerpiece for her Christmas table. It looked pretty for Christmas Eve dinner.

We went my folks' house for Christmas Eve dinner. We had a fun evening. We had spaghetti, Elizabeth and Jacob's favorite. My mom made a yummy apple cake. The little ones had fun opening gifts from Great Grandma and Grandpa.

We spent a fun day shopping with Elizabeth and Jacob while the "big kids" did their own shopping. It wasn't as busy and hectic as I would have thought for right before Christmas.

After much anticipation, Steve, Tracy, Jacob and Elizabeth arrived to spend the holidays with us. It's nice to have a housefull! If Todd and Julie and the kids were here...it would be perfect. Maybe another year!

Mom's 79th Birthday

 
 
 
 
We spent a nice day with Mom. We surprised her by going someplace we don't go very often, The Inn at Honey Run, in Amish Country. After a very nice lunch, we spent the day doing our favorite thing...shopping! The only thing that would have made it nicer, is if our sister, Debbie could have been there too. Well...there is always next year!

Christmas past in Pine Mountain Club

I've added a lot of photos so my sister, Debbie, could see our trip to Florida and South Carolina. I'm sorry she wasn't able to go too. This is the best I could do, Deb.

Daytona Beach and Jekyll Island

We left home several days before we had to be in Daytona Beach. We wanted to stop at Jekyll Island and St. Simon's Island off the coast of Georgia. It was my first trip there. Hopefully it won't be my last. I'd love for Rick to see it. It was really beautiful.

Dad's Navy Reunion

The last day of Dad's reunion started with a fly-by in honor of the guys. I found myself with chills. We all stood there and waved (like we could see the pilots waving back). The guys all had their business meeting while the wives visited. Deana and I opted for a trip to Ponce inlet to visit a light house.

A trip to the tallest lighthouse in Florida

Deana and I spent a day driving out to visit the tallest light house in Florida. It's the 2nd tallest in the US, with Cape Hatteras being the tallest. It was a beautiful day. The only day of the Navy reunion that was not rainy and dreary because of hurricane depression Noel.
