This was my first visit to your blog and I quite enjoyed it. It was difficult in fact deciding on which post I should comment. Finally decided the "current" one would be best.
The trip to Groundhog town looked like a lot of fun, but I'd have to say the birthday post was my favorite. I hope the young man has a great year.
It's good to connect with people of faith. If you don't mind there's something I like to do that I'd like to share with you, perhaps you can help spread the word.
There's a local website in Stark County, iShopStark.com where you can print free coupons. It's a great way to save money and is important to the economy because all the businesses offering coupons are local.
What I wanted to talk about, though, is using the site to help other people. I've made it a habit to get buy one/get one free coupons for meals and give the free one to someone I don't know. Of course I encourage them to...PAY IT FORWARD.
I just did that at an Aeros game and it really seemed to have an impact on the young man I gave the ticket to.
Perhaps you can turn some of your friends on to this. It can really make a difference at a time when so many people are in need...and it doesn't cost a penny.

Ok Cherie! I would like to know what that dessert is that your mother brought! It looks like a giant fudge egg. Could it be and is there a recipe?
The dessert was a chocolate covered cheese cake. She ordered it from QVC! It was good, but for what it cost, we could have made 4 or 5 from scratch.
Thanks!
