My reason for going to California was to be with family who needed me, but I also had a chance to visit for an afternoon with some friends who I used to work with. My dear friend, Jeanne had battled with cancer for years. She put up such a heroic fight. Finally the Lord saw fit to end her suffering and take her "home". I was so glad to have a chance to see her before her homegoing. Here are some pictures of our afternoon together. I was so happy that Rita and Michelle could be there too.
