A Godly reminder

Last night we were invited to dinner at some new friends'. These are people we met recently at our church. We found out that they are both graduates of The Master's College and attended Grace Church while they were in school. Needless to say...we had a great time talking about the church and so many acquaintances that we share. After dinner, they pulled out a DVD from Grace Church's 50th anniversary. We watched the whole thing...the interviews with charter members of the church, then the interviews with John, Patricia, and their kids. Matt, Mark and Marcy were talking about the time Patricia and Melinda were in a horrible car accident. John wasn't sure what Patricia's condition was when he arrived at the hospital, but the kids said the first thing out of John's mouth was "God is Sovereign...if we believe that, then it's time to live like it!" As I sat there watching the DVD last night, I couldn't help but think of our situation with Steve, Tracy and the kids. Steve's hearing is this morning and I am going around the house repeating to myself "God is Sovereign". Even if things don't go as we are praying, we have to believe that there's a reason for that as well. Thanks again to anyone who is praying!
